Adriane Reesey is a local community leader, and is currently employed with the Broward County Sheriff's Office as a Community Involvement Specialist.
For over 30 years, she has worked in corrections, law enforcement, and its periphery working toward understanding and equal justice.
Over the last decade, she has been both visible and active as a political and community leader.
She is the current Chair of the Human Rights Board, Director of the Broward County Crime Commission, and has recently served on the Fort Lauderdale Community Services Board.
A member of the Broward Democratic Executive Committee, and the Dolphin Democratic Club, she recently received the “Humanitarian of the Year” award presented by former Attorney General Janet Reno.
Adriane has been a poll worker for the Broward County Supervisor of Elections, and remains vocal regarding civic duty, responsibility, and community outreach efforts and voting.
She has stepped up to the challenge of restoring confidence in the community and having its voice be heard in the election process.
Adriane will run an election office dedicated to free and fair access, serving all voters of Broward County equally, regardless of political affiliation.
Upon her election, she will work tirelessly to encourage greater community participation through community outreach and education.
